Late night Visitors

Early morning 1am 18/02/12 home owners were woken by a large smash noise.

On inspection they found a broken window in the garage a brick had hit the car damaging it as well.

We beleave as the address is well off the road this was check on the address to see if anyone was home.

A second brick was in the garden just short of the window.

No response would have possably seen a break in.

TRUCK ACCIDENT

Barry helped Police divert traffic at a truck accident this morning at Manoeka Road S/H 2 Intersection.
The amount of people that drove at speed around the Police Road block was amazing none of them could stop within their viwing distance.
If your driving use your eyes on highbeam. Look ahead!
Check the road ahead of you not just a car length in front.
If its wet slow down!!!!

If it hadnt been a divertion at the intersection but another accident everyone that went around the road block would have crashed.
Warning lights are there for a reason don”t ignore them, slow down look for instruction from the person at the scene.

Driver of Stolen Car Caught

Prowler Security spotted what could have been a stolen Ute driving around Te Puke last night.

It was spotted parking in Commerce lane in a Kinder Gaerden carpark.

The patrol Barry Jones and Steve went to investigate, to find it reversing no lights into the road where it stalled.

Confirmming registration security notified Police and then managed to grab the offender as he tried to roll start the Ute.

He was arrested for drink driving and other offences.

 

 

Theft ex Cars Te Puke

Police alerted to youths breaking into cars Macloughlin Drive Te Puke 02/01/2012

Police dog section went to work quickly catching one and a second was dealt with shortly after.

Security assisted with area patrols.

There has been a major increase in thefts from cars over the last 2 weeks, please lock your cars and remove valuables where you can.

New Years morning was quiet with only a few youths moving through a school in Mount Maunganui, who were kept moving by security staff.

Stolen car Found

One lady in Papamoa who was visiting area thought her car was stolen, Prowler Security Patrol staff found her car.

It turns out she had exited the wrong beach access happly runited with car.

Just after the local bar closing most groups had left for home, then fighting broke out in Queen Street / Jocelyne Street resulting in one arrest.
Within 10 minutes another major fight started Jellicoe Street and Boucher Avenue. Several people were injured durring the fights with some weapons being used. Bottles and wood.

The fighting lasted a little over 10 minutes.

BURNOUT DISGUST

Burnouts discust, while everyone was celebrating the world cup win, there were those in Te Akaroa Drive thought they would deface the roads and leave a discusting mess.

People who come to the industrial area must think this is the bad area of town, why would you risk business in this area, the Council was contacted with no reply from our calls, what is more upsetting is the offending on the night came from a tennant from an industrial building located in the street, an off duty Police Officer who wittnessed the event is following up on what he saw.

 

These are just a few of the street after the burnouts.

HOUSE BURGLAR CAUGHT IN ACT

A male disturbed in a house by the owner in Papamoa alerted police, patrols helping cordon the area with police managed to keep the offender to a confinded area.

Tauranga Police dog section tracked the offender to an address where he was arrested.

ARMED ROBBERY TE PUKE

A MALE WALKED INTO A BAR CARRYING A SHOT GUNĀ FROM REPORTSĀ RECEIVED, WHO THEN PROCEDDED TO ROB THE PREMISE.

A SILVER STATION WAGON WAS SEEN LEAVING THE AREA.

BURGLARS CAUGHT AFTER POLICE DOG TRACK

Police dog handler tracked 2 offenders after a burglary in Te Puke.
An Armourgaurd patrol disturbed the males in an Industrial building and alerted police.
Prowler Security assisted police with areas, and after a while the dog handler called up to say he was now following fresh tagging as well.
Paint taken from the burglary had been used.

Police dog section tracked to a house where two males were arrested for offences.
